A Season of Reflection

Autumn burned brightly, a running flame through the mountains, a torch flung to the trees.

Can you feel it?

The air’s getting crisper, and it’s time to say goodbye to summer and hello to cozy fall vibes. With pumpkins lining my front porch and hearty stews making their way back onto my dinner menu, I’m ready to embrace everything this season brings. Whether it’s pulling out my favorite sweaters or trading in paddleboarding for snuggly evenings, fall is here, and it’s hard not to notice all the beautiful changes around us.

The leaves are shifting from green to vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows, reminding us that change is a natural part of life. Honestly, I don’t have a favorite season; I adore them all! Each one brings new temperatures, flavors, adventures, and opportunities. Every new season feels like a fresh beginning to me.

You might be noticing changes in your home décor, fashion choices, or even the sports you follow as fall settles in. So, how does this seasonal shift look for you? Do your work and home routines change with the seasons? What about your self-care and fun activities?

A Time for Reflection

The arrival of fall is a perfect reminder to pause and reflect on what truly matters. It’s a chance to reconnect with your values, revisit our strengths, and embrace the potential for new beginnings in your life, relationships, careers, and dreams.

Staying grounded in your values helps bring peace, confidence, and clarity as you navigate life’s many seasons. When you know what’s important to you—be it family, health, or personal growth—it’s easier to tackle challenges and seize unexpected opportunities.

So, take a moment to think about your values:

  • What are they?

  • Which values do you want to lean into this season?

  • How can you align your actions with them?

Maybe it’s about prioritizing self-care, indulging in hobbies that spark joy, refreshing your career goals, enjoying family dinners, or setting healthy boundaries at work. If you want a little help identifying your core values (Try this activity to get a little clearer on them.)

embrace Your Strengths

Don’t forget about your strengths—they’re your superpowers! They make you resilient and unique, helping you turn life’s changes into opportunities for growth and new adventures.

Think about what you’re naturally good at. Are you a great communicator, a creative thinker, or someone who easily builds connections? Maybe you have a knack for making strangers feel comfortable. This fall, lean into those strengths! Look for new ways to use them, share them, and help others. Stretch yourself to connect with others in ways that nurture your spirit.

Need a hand figuring out your strengths? Try this.

Celebrate You!

This October, celebrate what makes you uniquely YOU! Go jump in some leaves, grab a pumpkin spice latte, start a new book, or dive into a hobby you’ve been wanting to try.

Whatever you choose, make sure it reflects the woman you know you’re meant to be—not who others expect you to be.

And if any of this feels overwhelming or a bit scary, let’s chat! I can help quiet that critical voice that tells you you’re not allowed to pursue your passions or that change is impossible.
